Accounting MOVE Project names Rehmann Best CPA firm for women
Embracing diversity means creating a workplace where people of all backgrounds feel included and valued. Rehmann is committed to supporting opportunities that foster diversity and gender equality. As a result, Rehmann has been named to the Accounting MOVE Project’s “Best Public Accounting Firms for Women” for the fifth consecutive year.
The list, released by the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, recognizes firms that provide:
• Consistent, measurable progress in advancing women
• Proven and continually evolving programs that retain and advance women
• Evidence that the firm’s advancement of women is intrinsic to its growth and succession goals
The 2017 MOVE Project theme, “Pipeline to Finish Line: Powering Women to the Partner/Principal Level,” discussed specific strategies and programs that will advance women leadership.
In addition to having two robust leadership development programs that pair sponsors with pro

tégés — allowing for development at both the individual and firm levels — Rehmann ranked 4 percent above average in the Accounting MOVE Project’s 2017 survey of the number of women partners, principals and management committee members at participating accounting firms.
Rehmann also has a dedicated Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) that focuses on the development of female associates and women’s career advocacy across the Firm to ensure a strong progression of women leaders.
“We are honored to be included among the best accounting firms for women for the fifth time in a row,” said Katie Strehler, Rehmann chief human resources officer.” Equal opportunity and advancement are fundamental to Rehmann’s culture and we’ll continue to drive that same principle.”
