President and Chief Executive Officer, Henry Ford Health

Bob Riney is President and Chief Executive Officer of Henry Ford Health, continuing to lead the nation in providing innovative, compassionate care.  

Riney joined Henry Ford Health in 1978 and has held numerous leadership positions, including President of Healthcare Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Vice President of Organizational Design and Effectiveness. His variety of roles has led to his deep understanding of health system operations and organizational culture and their impact on operating performance.  

Riney is a current board member of the Detroit Zoological Society, Michigan Health and Hospital Association (MHA), M1 Rail Transit Authority, Hudson-Webber Foundation, Business Leaders for Michigan, Downtown Detroit Partnership, Detroit Regional Partnership, and The Detroit Economic Club. Additionally, he is a trustee of the Alfred I. duPont Charitable Trust and a board chair of The Parade Company and Caymich Insurance Company. 

Riney is a graduate of Wayne State University.
