Social media posts: Tag Beaumont Health and use the hashtag #HealthCareHeroes to share photos or videos of you and your family sharing well wishes for the Beaumont health care team.
E-greetings: Send an online greeting to the Beaumont team. Messages will be displayed online for team members to view.
Facebook profile frames: Search for “Beaumont” in the frame tool in your profile photo options.
Drawings and artwork: Draw a picture to thank the team for their bravery and dedication; email the artwork to Beaumont (SocialMedia@beaumont.org) and it will be shared with our health care team and might also be shared online. You can also post your picture online, tag Beaumont Health and use the #HealthCareHeroes hashtag.
Beau the Bear superhero coloring page: Print the picture, color it and display it in your window.

Home Beams for Health Care Teams: Every evening at 8 p.m. families are encouraged to step outside their front door and shine a flashlight toward their nearest hospital to show support for health care heroes across Southeast Michigan. Families are also encouraged to swap out their porch light with a blue lightbulb as a sign of support for health care heroes and first responders.
Blue ribbons: Tie a blue ribbon around a tree as a sign of support for #HealthCareHeroes.
Donations of PPE: Beaumont has two drop-off locations for Personal Protection Equipment from the community.
March 26 Tele-Town Hall with Beaumont Health Leaders
Beaumont Health’s John Fox, president and CEO, and Susan Grant, executive vice president and chief of nursing provided an update on their plan for providing care to more than 450 patients plus their online, call-in, and curbside testing operations.
To better accommodate the processing of community donations, Beaumont Health is expanding and beginning tomorrow is asking donors to drop-off medical supplies at their Van Buren Township facility.
Donations will also be accepted outside the main entrance of the Beaumont Service Center in Southfield, 26901 Beaumont Blvd., through Saturday, April 4 until 6 p.m. Depending on the activity, this date may be extended.
MOST-NEEDED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
- New or unused disposable face masks
- N-95 mask (sometimes called respirators)
- Eye protection including face shields and safety goggles
- Disposable gowns
- Disposable gloves (especially non-latex)
- Disposable surgical caps
- Disposable foot covers
- Wipes: bleach or anti-microbial
- Home-sewn reusable masks
- Specialized items
- PAPRs (powered air purifying respirators) and PAPR hoods
- Nasal testing swabs
- Viral testing kits
ITEMS BEAUMONT WILL NOT ACCEPT AT THIS TIME
- 3-D printed ventilator parts
- Baby monitors
Note: These kinds of items may be needed later. If Beaumont’s donation needs change, the list will be updated.
The drop-off locations are “touchless” to ensure donor safety with donors placing items directly into bins. Receipts for donations will be available online at www.beaumont.org/giving
Donations are strongly encouraged and appreciated. In order to properly accept donations, Beaumont leadership asks direct drop-off donations can be made to:

Saturday and Sunday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please check-in at the front door with security for further directions
Donors who are not feeling well should wait until they are well before donating supplies or equipment.
