Act Now: Ensure Critical Measures in Congress’ Next COVID-19 Relief Bill

August 10, 2020
U.S. Chamber to Lead Digital Days of Action Monday, Aug. 10 and Tuesday, Aug. 11

This week, the U.S. Chamber is coordinating two Digital Days of Action to rally voices from across the country and demand that important measures make it in Congress’ next coronavirus relief package.

What you can do:

  • Liability protections: On Monday, the U.S. Chamber will urge Congress to pass timely, temporary, and targeted liability protections for employers that work to follow public health guidelines. Faced with so many challenges, employers need assurances that if they do the right thing, they won’t face financial hardships from unwarranted lawsuits. Send a letter to Congress through this link.
  • Saving nonprofits: On Tuesday, the U.S. Chamber will ask for relief for nonprofits that comprise the fabric of our communities, such as local and state chambers of commerce, industry associations, and tourism groups. These organizations are the protectors,  promoters, and support system for the businesses that power our lives. Send a letter to Congress through this link.
