Right now, Detroit police, fire, emergency medical services, and healthcare workers are making sacrifices to ensure the safety of others. In response, Detroit has organized Feed the Front Lines, a private fund that will pay restaurants in the city to help make 2,500 meals a week for those on the front lines.

This is a win-win; restaurants struggling due to the “Stay Home, Stay Safe, Save Lives” order will gain business, and those on the front lines receive a big thank you from the city for the long hours they work to ensure the health and safety of others.

Donate to both give thanks to those on the front lines and help support local restaurants in this difficult time.

Restaurants can sign up to participate in providing meals for $15 or less. The city will match restaurants with needs based on location, cost, and capacity. All applicants will have their City of Detroit Health Department inspection status verified.
