Chamber Provides 5,000 Masks To Small Business Members In Need Through UniFirst Partnership

The Chamber, in partnership with UniFirst Corporation, is helping connect small businesses in the region with protective face coverings. As the state continues to gradually reopen, personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential to keep employees and consumers safe.

Detroit Means Business

This program is currently distributing FREE Personal Protective Equipment to Detroit-based small businesses. Free PPE Starter Kits are available to businesses with 2-50 employees. The kit includes: 100 masks, 200 gloves and a gallon of hand sanitizer. You will need to complete the help form to request the Kit and schedule a pickup time at the designated Detroit location. These free resources will not last long.

Macomb County Restart Kits

Macomb County is pleased to provide personal protection equipment to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 for businesses as they prepare to open for business. Kits will be available for pickup at a location in Clinton Township. More details to be provided in an email confirmation. Depending on the number of people you employ, kits will include:

  • Reusable face coverings
  • Face shields
  • Gloves
  • Touchless thermometer
  • Building signage
  • And other items to help make your workplace safer for employees and customers.

Oakland County ReOpening Toolkit

Oakland County created the COVID-19 ReOpen Kit to provide small business owners, local communities, nonprofit and faith-based leaders with materials and guidelines to help resume activities safely in this new environment caused by the pandemic. Submit this form with your business information to receive a toolkit.

Pure Michigan Business Connect: COVID-19 Procurement Platform

PMBC is offering a free procurement program to assist businesses in accessing non-medical grade Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to keep their employees and customers stay safe as they begin resuming in-person operations, as is required by Executive Order 2020-91.
