The impact of Leadership Detroit is evident in the strength of lasting relationships that continue far beyond graduation and create positive change for years to come. The community efforts to identify and nominate leaders with diverse backgrounds and experiences to participate in Leadership Detroit is critical to the ongoing success of the program and its prolonged impact.

Contributing to this program is instrumental to the effort to cultivate the leadership that has made Detroit one of the best places to live, work, and play. Supporting Leadership Detroit is tax deductible as a business expense or as a charitable gift.

A great way to show your support for Leadership Detroit is to attend the Fall Legacy Celebration which typically takes place in October. This annual event allows alumni to enjoy an evening of music and networking at one of Detroit’s premier establishments. A portion of ticket sales go towards supporting scholarships for future Leadership Detroit class members. Look for details to come as we relaunch this special event.

• Increasing the ability to provide much-needed scholarship dollars to ensure that community leaders, small business leaders, and entrepreneurs continue to participate in Leadership Detroit.
• Expanding the number of networking opportunities and events to support Leadership Detroit’s growing cohort of graduates.
• Improving access to Leadership Detroit’s graduate network through an online directory that allows graduates to resource one another.
• Developing and supporting a platform to identify and promote leadership community engagement opportunities for Leadership Detroit graduates.
