Lou Glazer is president and co-founder of Michigan Future Inc. (MFI), a nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank. Its mission is to be a source of new ideas on how Michigan can succeed as a world-class community in a knowledge-driven economy. Glazer is currently leading efforts to organize leadership to implement a new agenda for a knowledge-based Michigan and help start new high schools that will prepare Detroit students for college success. Prior to joining MFI, Glazer served as deputy director of the Michigan Department of Commerce during former Gov. James Blanchard’s administration.
