All press conferences held at Grand Hotel during the Mackinac Policy Conference must be approved by the Detroit Regional Chamber. Unfortunately, due to limited space and times available, the Chamber can only approve a limited number of applications each year. Press conferences to announce political candidacy are not permitted.
If you are approved to host a press conference, any speakers or support staff will be required to register for the Conference at the full attendee rate. No exceptions will be given.
Staff and speakers will not qualify for media credentials. See media credential requirements for more details.
Upon submitting this form, your request will go into the Chamber’s formal review process. All press conference requests must be submitted by April 28, 2023, to be considered.
Please note the press conference schedule for the 2023 Mackinac Policy Conference will not be confirmed until the week of May 8, 2023.
