Phil Cooley
Co-Owner, Slows Bar BQ
Phil Cooley is the co-owner of Slows Bar BQ and Slows To Go, and is a general contractor of Detroit-based O’Connor Development Group L.L.C. He has been active throughout Detroit, assisting residents with projects ranging from small business ventures to designing and building public spaces.
Cooley is also the founder of Ponyride, a co-working space for socially-conscious artists and entrepreneurs to work and share knowledge, resources and networks. He has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Columbia College in Chicago.
