Ronald McDonald House of Detroit accepts keys to leased Traverse from GM Financial as part of its national “Cool Cars for Remarkable Kids” program

GM Financial presented the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit with the keys to an off-lease 2014 Chevrolet Traverse as part of the company’s “Cool Cars for Remarkable Kids” on June 20, in front of the House at 4707 St. Antoine in Detroit. The design on the Traverse features a wrap-around image of a to-scale red Chevrolet Corvette.

Jennifer Litomisky, executive director of the House, said, “This collaboration really means the world to us because we are able to have a second vehicle to help transport our families from the Ronald McDonald House to the hospital and take them to get groceries. The families and staff will be thrilled with his incredible addition to the House.”

Litomisky accepted the Traverse keys from Joe Bartuch, senior vice president of Sales and Credit Operations at GM Financial. Attendees included Bob Winn, senior vice president of Pricing Analytics and Product Development at GM Financial; Board member Roger Tertocha and Bill Lloyd, general sales manager at James Martin Chevrolet in Detroit.

GM Financial will provide vehicles to approximately 30 Ronald McDonald Houses nationwide in 2017. The program began last year in Fort Worth, Texas, where the company is headquartered.
