Walsh College Maintains High Campus Safety and Security Record in 2015

TROY, Mich., November 10, 2015 — Walsh College has had no incidents involving campus security at its locations in Troy, Novi, and Clinton Township, reporting as required under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.

The safety and security report provides faculty, staff, students, and campus visitors with an overview of Walsh College security resources, policies, and procedures. The 2015 report documents statistics for 2014.

Walsh College collects information with respect to campus crime statistics from local law enforcement agencies and campus security policies and submits it annually to the Department of Education as required by the Act.

It also prepares, publishes, and distributes an annual safety security report containing information on campus crime statistics and campus security policies.

“It is very important to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, and secure learning environment for all of our students,” said Stephanie Bergeron, president and CEO, Walsh College. “The cooperation and awareness of students, staff, and faculty help us maintain and grow that environment.”
