Bill Huizenga represents Michigan’s 4th Congressional District.
Huizenga serves as the Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee on the House Financial Services Committee. He also serves as a member of the Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship, and Capital Markets and the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
Huizenga is also a founding member of the bipartisan PFAS Task Force and believes residents in Southwest Michigan across the nation deserve to know the truth and the full picture about the health risks as well as the sources associated with PFAS and PFOAS.
Since 2017, Rep. Huizenga has served as a Co-Chair of the Great Lakes Task Force and has successfully rallied bipartisan support for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI), a program that is vital to preserving and protecting the Great Lakes ecology while also promoting opportunities for the Great Lakes economy.
Huizenga received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Calvin College.
