John Carter is the Michigan Market Leader for JPMorgan Chase & Co. He has worked for over 30 years in commercial banking for JPMorgan Chase and predecessor organizations, serving as manager or executive in charge of various lending and corporate banking groups which provide operating and capital raising services/products to corporate clients.
Carter serves on various internal bank committees and is involved in several outside organizations, as either member or director: Alma College Business Roundtable, Business Leaders of Michigan, Downtown Detroit Partnership, Detroit Historical Society, Detroit Regional Chamber, Forgotten Harvest, Judson Center, U-M Alumni Association, U-M Business Club of Greater Detroit, YMCA Foundation and YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Alma College and a master’s degree from the University of Michigan.
