Lori Ostrow

Senior Director, Engagement, Detroit Regional Chamber

Lori Ostrow is the senior director of Engagement for the Detroit Regional Chamber, responsible for the engagement and retention strategy for the Chamber’s members and investors along with new membership development. In this role, Ostrow leads a team that is responsible for over $3 million in Chamber revenue. She is also the Chamber’s key contact for large corporate and middle market members. In 2017, Ostrow led the successful Chamber membership restructure from four levels to three, including dues increases, meeting retention goals. She has been part of the Chamber’s Resource Development and Marketing team since December 2011.  

Prior to joining the Chamber, Ostrow was the executive director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, directing fundraising and health care initiatives for the Greater Detroit East office. She also spent 15 years with Ilitch Holdings’ Detroit Red Wings and Olympia Entertainment, handling brand and event marketing, fan development, and ticket sales and service for the Detroit Red Wings and College Hockey at the Joe events.  

Ostrow earned a bachelor’s degree in communication psychology from the University of Michigan, served as Recreation Commissioner with the City of Wyandotte from 2009 to 2016 and is a Leadership Detroit graduate of Class XL.  A Michigan native, Ostrow currently resides in McGregor, Ontario with her husband Dave.
