The Detroit Regional Chamber congratulates Board member Carla Walker-Miller, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Walker-Miller Energy Services, and former Board member Leon Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Chemico Group, LLC, on their induction to the prestigious Michigan Minority Business Hall of Fame.
This award, created by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council, honors the exceptional individuals who have left an indelible mark on minority businesses in the state, while also empowering communities that have often been overlooked. Each year, Michigan business leaders submit nominations, and a panel of esteemed judges evaluate and select the inductees into the Hall of Fame.
Walker-Miller and Richardson were inducted on Oct. 3, 2023 at the MMSDC Ace Awards.
