Chairman, Managing Partner, and Co-Founder, Huron Capital Partners LLC

Brian Demkowicz is the Chairman and Founding Partner of Huron Capital Partners LLC, a leading private equity firm in the lower middle-market. He is a seasoned investor with a successful 35+ year track record of partnering with passionate entrepreneurs to build bigger, better companies. Demkowicz founded Huron Capital in 1999 with the goal of building great companies with great people through the execution of high-impact buy-and-build investment strategies. Since inception, Huron Capital has successfully established seven private equity funds totaling more than $2.0 billion in committed capital and invested in nearly 300 businesses throughout North America.

In addition to Huron, Demkowicz supports a variety of entrepreneurial and philanthropic endeavors, providing guidance, mentorship and capital. He is actively involved with numerous industry, civic, educational and charitable organizations and established the Huron Footprints program to support initiatives that will have a positive and lasting impact in the Detroit community.

Brian is an avid guitar player and once met George Harrison in an airport lounge. He is focused on faith, family, and fitness, and enjoys spending time with his five kids and spouses, three dogs, one grandchild and one wife. He and the Pope are life-long Chicago Bears fans.

Brian graduated from the Krannert School of Management (now known as the Mitchell E. Daniels Jr. School of Business) at Purdue University with a B.S. in Accounting, earned an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and is a CPA (inactive).
