Urban Science names executive to newly created vice president position for Atlantic Region

DETROIT, March 19, 2013 – Global automotive retail consulting firm Urban Science today announced the promotion of Christine Boumansour to the newly created role of vice president of the Atlantic Region. She will lead client and employee relations in the Detroit, Washington, D.C, and New Jersey offices and will be the global account director for General Motors.

“Christine’s leadership and business management expertise, along with her more than 20 years of experience at Urban Science, will be key to developing solutions that target revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction,” said Jim Anderson, president and CEO of Urban Science.

Boumansour’s primary goal is to find and implement best practices that increase efficiency and productivity as she manages the teams in each office. As the global account director for General Motors, she will support the automaker’s global objectives and strategies.

She previously was the managing director at ChannelVantage, a strategic alliance between General Motors North America and Urban Science formed in 2001, where she was responsible for operations including managing sales, strategy, personnel and client relations. Christine joined Urban Science in 1990 after working as a systems support technician for Kmart Corp.

Boumansour has an MBA, with a concentration in quality management, from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a concentration in mathematics from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She is a member of the University of Michigan-Dearborn advisory board for the Computer and Information Science department.
