The Entrepreneurship Center at Washtenaw Community College (WCC) is now accepting applications for its June 2024 Start-up Incubator Program. This two-year program is designed to launch the applicant’s business successfully and provide ongoing support to ensure its sustained growth and success within the community.
About the Program
The first year of the WCC Incubator program is to build the foundation for a start-up journey. Through various workshops, aspiring entrepreneurs can create a business plan, connect with experienced mentors, develop their brand, and learn how to target their audience while also learning about the complexities of owning a business, including accountability, legal and insurance, and finances. In the second year, program attendees will further refine their business strategies, receive ongoing support from mentors and coaches, and expand their knowledge base through specialized training opportunities.
Incubator Program Perks
Throughout the program’s duration, members can compete for prizes and awards at its events, such as the Incubator Showcase and the WCC Pitch Competition. They also have access to professional design and branding services, professional and peer programming, a co-working space with Mac design computers, and more.
How to Apply to the WCC Incubator Program
Future and current business owners who are ready to take their business ventures to market are encouraged to apply. The application deadline for the upcoming cohort is Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
