Duston Pope is the Director of Health Care Value Strategy and Engagement for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, responsible for developing the Health Care Value Strategy to align and support broader enterprise and Business Unit strategies and objectives. This includes developing a clear vision and plan for the company’s care delivery role within the evolving health care landscape and dynamics both locally and nationally.

Before joining the HCV team, Pope supported the development of health care solutions as the Director of Market Solution Strategy, setting the division’s short- and long-term strategies and supporting the launch of new solutions through go-to-market strategies for BCBSM’s commercial group market.

Before joining BCBSM in 2016, Pope worked for Gongos Inc., providing consumer research and business consulting services to various companies within the healthcare industry ranging from health systems, medical device companies, and insurers, including BCBSM.

Pope earned a degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
