Suzanne Shank is Co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Siebert Williams Shank & Co., a full-service investment banking firm offering debt and equity origination services to a wide range of Fortune 500 companies and debt underwriting for municipal clients nationally.
Shank has been recognized for her leadership in the financial services industry by Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Worth Magazine, Crain’s Detroit, U.S. Banker Magazine, Investopedia, and The Bond Buyer, among others. Shank was featured in Inc. Magazine’s 2024 Female Founders 250 list, one of numerous awards and honors garnered throughout her career.
Shank serves as chair of the Detroit Regional Chamber board and serves on several other Chamber committees. Public company directorships include Rocket Companies, Consumers Energy, and White Mountains. Shank also serves on the boards of The Kresge Foundation, the Skillman Foundation (Chair), Partnership for New York City, and Spelman College. Shank is a member of Business Leaders for Michigan, the Council on Foreign Relations, the International Women’s Forum, and the Links, Incorporated.
Shank earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
