Damian Aquino and Corey Neil Join Dickinson Wright Troy Office

TROY, Mich. – Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Damian Aquino and Corey Neil have both joined the firm’s Troy office as Of Counsel.

Damian AquinoDamian Aquino’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, software, and mechanical arts. He also assists in the preparation of legal opinions, including in the areas of patent infringement as well as freedom-to-practice. Prior to attending law school, Damian was employed in the defense industry as an electrical engineer working in vehicle electronics, software, and diagnostics. Damian received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.

Corey Neil focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of domestic patent applications in the mechanical arts, providing freedom-to-Corey Neiloperate opinions as well as aspects of licensing and contract negotiation. He has extensive experience providing data to clients that strengthens their position in determining whether a patent is an inventive concept. He also helps clients determine whether they have freedom-to-operate and the state of the art in a specific market. Corey is recognized as a leader in his field by Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch”. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court, and Young Leader Captain for the Detroit Economic Club. Corey received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
