2022 State of Talent: Helping Business Plan for the Future

For the third year, the Detroit Regional Chamber released its annual State of Education report on Wednesday, April 6.

Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Sandy K. Baruah provided an overview of this year’s report, including key data indicators that illustrate how the region’s educational institutions are preparing students for college and the jobs of the future, as well as the impacts of business and education partnerships. Business leaders and education stakeholders discussed current workforce challenges, how businesses are upskilling their current employees, innovation in times of the talent pipeline disruption, and facilitating return to work.
